It's dry and full-bodied with plush ripe black fruit and brambly flavors supported by grippy tannins leading to a medium-long finish. The Carmenere grape comes from France's Bordeaux region and was first planted in Chile in the nineteenth century. My note: Wonderfully rich and concentrated yet savory and mouth-watering too.
